Emergency Services Commission

The Mountain View Regional Emergency Services Commission Regulation, Alberta Regulation 79/2001 of the Municipal Government Act, clearly defines the responsibility of the Commission to be a regional services commission, authorized to provide emergency medical services.  You can view this Regulation by clicking here.  

The Commission commenced operations on January 1, 2001 as an Advanced Life Support emergency medical service provider to its member municipalities. The member municipalities are: 

• Town of Carstairs

• Village of Cremona

• Town of Didsbury

• Town of Olds

• Town of Sundre

• Mountain View County 

The Mountain View Regional Emergency Services Commission is responsible for the provision of Emergency Medical Services in Mountain View County and the municipalities that reside in the County.  To achieve this delivery of service the Commission provides direct coverage to the entire County and all municipalities in the  County (Carstairs, Cremona, Didsbury, Olds, Sundre).
